    Who builds BIG TARGETS?

Interested in a build- up of 1/48 scale Fletcher class destroyer. I have cervical fusion at C5,6,7 and not much good at detailed stoop work. Found a great kit from a vendor. Anybody interested in taking on a commissioned project?

    Thanks in advance!

    Ed

      Any other ideas?

      Thanks!

          Thanks again!!

What do you know of rcscalemodelstore.
com ? They seem to put out some good models, but beyond offering rudder and engines, do not deal much deeper with with further electronics installation....

For instance, they sell 1/48 scale Type VII for about $2300, that is just a surface runner, no WTC. I figure Bob could sell a bare bones Type VII that would dive. This leads me to believe they maybe too spendy on their assembly prices

I had approached them with an idea of me purchasing my 1/48 Fletcher from scaleworkshop.com for assembly, and just giving me rudders and engines, which falls into their comfort zone, the leave all the drop in electronics from scaleworkshops.com for me to connect, as well as add ins I can purchase direct.

In lieu of not hearing back from scaleworshop.com, am I making a good business decision, or setting myself up for a huge overpayment?

I should get an estimate from rcscalemodelstore.com next week.

          Thanks!

That's all I'm prepared to recommend.

Okay, I can appreciate that. And thank you.

But based upon my plan above, how sound is it? Good plan, bad plan? I'm sailing in unfamiliar waters with no charts.

              Advice?

Bob Martin does commission work, he's nautilus drydocks. Contact him. There are other guys who do commission work but their reliability is sketchy and I won't make recommendations there. I won't deliver you into the hands of a hack.

I recommend you take this inquiry over to the warships models underway forum.
