    U-91035 "PROTEUS": Propulsion Unit Mount Rev A: Final

    After some Monoprice Voxel printer issues (owner related) I was finally able to print out and assemble the operational Propulsion Unit mounts.

    The latest design uses much less material, and allows more cooling water to flow around the motor housing. Essential when I'm pulling 21k rpm at 100% power.

    Also, the Propulsion units themselves can be readily removed with two screws for service such as lubrication or shaft seal maintenance.

    After I finish reworking the lower hull to eliminate the warp, I can start test fitting and assembling this puppy!

    After all these years will it finally be ready for Summer 2019??

    But, Mousie, thou art no thy-lane,
    In proving foresight may be vain;
    The best-laid schemes o' mice an' men
    Gang aft agley,
    An' lea'e us nought but grief an' pain,
    For promis'd joy!
