Batteries wiring

Hi every one,

A matter of curiosity. How were the batteries wired one to each other. Cables, rods anything else ? I did'nt find the answer.....

Thanks a lot for your care, but I am not experienced enough to build a Rc sub.....Maybe later.... My question was about U-boot VIIC. I wonder about voltage/intensity and the mandatory wiring battery/battery and battery/electrical engines. How did they solve this problem ?
