    Dumas retrofit

    I have a fully built Akula by Dumas with the watertight compartment that came with the kit Unfortunately no matter what I do it is not water tight my question is will a 2 inch EasyWTC fit this model I believe the internal width is slightly over 2 inches any advice would be appreciated Mark

    Hello, I had the same problem with a Subtek Albacore. I replaced all the original stuff with a 3" Subdriver. That was the smartest move I ever made. How much room do you have available, length and width? Post a picture if you can.

      I have three inches but David Merriman says a standard 2.5 will do the trick

          I'm not sure that I'd be bragging about three inches even if I actually believed that 2.5 inches was standard......... just say'n.

            My sentiments exactly. Wasn't 2.5 the Pakistani Standard?

                I just finished converting one of these awful Dumas kits. Took it from a pile of screaming **** to a well running, statically diving, reliable, fast, highly maneuverable submarine. A standard 2.5" SD did the trick. I'll get some pictures of that work later.
